Returning from his long 7-year ban for spot-fixing in the Indian Premier League, S Sreesanth bagged a wicket for Kerala against Puducherry in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Playing the T20 championship after he was picked by Kerala, Sreesanth had a pretty decent restart to his career as he finished with figures of 1 for 29 from 4 overs. God is great said Sreesanth after making a successful return to the game as his team also won the match with ease. Sreesanth was banned for life for his alleged involvement in spot-fixing but a BCCI ombudsman ruled in his favour as his life ban was reduced which allowed him to make a comeback to his state side.
