Ahead of the famous Uttarayan festival, which will be celebrated on the 14th of January, markets in Rajkot have been decked with a large variety of kites.
Among the most popular, are the Covid-themed kites, keeping in tune with the current times! Uttarayan or International Kite Festival in Gujarat sees master kite makers and flyers from across the world showcase their designs and skills.
Other unique designs this year include one on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli.
