Spanish art installation recreates air pollution

Dec 05, 2019 12:15 IST

Ahead of the COP25 climate change meeting, an art installation has been created in Madrid that recreates air pollution. The installation simulates pollution levels of some of the most polluted cities in the world including London, New Delhi and Beijing. The pollution pods have been created by British artist Michael Pinsky and use perfume blends and fog machines to imitate the deteriorating air quality. Spain's Energy and Environment Minister Teresa Ribera paid a visit to the site that even spreads awareness on how pollution impacts the health.
