Amid the ongoing row with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Bollywood actor Sonu Sood reportedly met with NCP chief Sharad Pawar at the latter's residence in Mumbai on Wednesday. The Mumbai civic body had filed a complaint at Juhu police station seeking a case to be lodged against Sood for allegedly converting a residential building into a hotel without permission. In an affidavit filed, the BMC told the Bombay High Court that Sood is a "habitual offender" who kept on carrying out unauthorised construction work even after a notice was served to him in October. The actor has approached the High Court to challenge the BMC's notice.
