Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi on Thursday. According to Dr D.S. Rana, the Chairman of the hospital, she has been admitted for routine tests and investigations. Her condition is currently stable, he added.
Earlier in the day, the Congress President had held a meeting with party's Rajya Sabha members and discussed the current political situation with them, sources said.The meeting was organised through video conference in which its top leaders, including former prime minister Manmohan Singh, participated.
