Sisodia takes Vij head-on, says people from other states also being treated in Delhi

Apr 21, 2021 20:10 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia Wednesday said urged the Centre to increase the capital city's quota of oxygen supply as nearly 18,000 patients are currently admitted to hospitals.

"I've visited many hospitals, people from UP, Haryana etc are also getting treatment here," ANI quoted him as saying.

Sisodia also said he received a report that a local administration officer in Faridabad, Haryana stopped a truck transporting oxygen, which delayed the supply. This was in response to Haryana minister Anil Vij's remark where he had accused the Delhi government of 'stealing' oxygen from a tanker in Faridabad.

"Yesterday also, we faced a similar transportation issue, we had to call a senior Cabinet minister, only after he helped that Oxygen transport to Delhi was started," Sisodia added.
