7-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton is likely to get Knighted soon and the process has been cleared and overseen by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The problems started when Hamilton in a bid to save taxes moved to Switzerland and then eventually Monaco and that didn't go down well with policymakers in the British Parliament who accused one of the most celebrated sports stars from the UK of taking undue tax benefits by moving his accounts overseas. But PM Johnson has placed Hamilton on the ‘Diplomatic and Overseas List’ as decks are now cleared for the 35-year-old to get Knighted soon. Hamilton recently equalled Michael Schumacher's record of 7-World Titles in Formula 1 and is considered one of the greatest to have ever raced in the sport.
