Filmmakers Sajid Nadiadwala and Nitesh Tiwari took to social media to announce the new release date of their next project &lsquo;Bawaal&rsquo;, starring Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan. &nbsp;The film that was initially scheduled to be released in April got postponed due to VFX issues and is now all set to arrive in theatres on October 6, 2023.
Production house Nadiadwala Grandson tweeted, &lsquo;National Award-Winners #SajidNadiadwala &amp; @niteshtiwari22 are back with #BAWAAL. Watch their epic creation on 6th October 2023 in theatres near you! Starring @Varun_dvn &amp; #JanhviKapoor&rsquo; &lsquo;Bawaal&rsquo; marks Sajid and Nitesh&rsquo;s second collaboration after 'Chhichhore' which bagged National Award for best Hindi feature film.
The romantic period action-drama is said to be the most expensive film of Varun Dhawan's career so far. It went on floors in April in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The shooting also took place in Paris, Berlin, Poland, Amsterdam, Krakow, Warsaw along with a brief portion in India.
'Bawaal' is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson, and is co-produced by EarthSky Pictures.

A video of American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine being attacked inside a gym in South Florida on March 21 is going viral on the internet. He suffered bruises on his face along with injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
His attorney Lance Lazzaro told TMZ that the rapper was inside of the sauna when a group of men walked in and attacked him. The attorney added that Tekashi tried to fight off the assailants, but there were too many of them. They later fled the scene.
At the time of the attack, Tekashi didn&rsquo;t have any security with him. According to the TMZ report, gym staff heard the commotion and immediately notified a manager. Police and emergency medical services arrived at the gym and transported Tekashi to the hospital.
Tekashi&lsquo;s attorney plans on contacting law enforcement to get the rapper more protection.

Actor Sara Ali Khan, who is busy promoting her upcoming film &lsquo;Gaslight&rsquo;, addressed the failures of her last few releases in a recent interview with news agency PTI. She said failures of past films made her reassess her choices as an artist and she is now focused on taking up scripts that will bring her &lsquo;creative satisfaction&rsquo;.
Referring to her 2020 movie &lsquo;Coolie No 1&rsquo;, which she had signed due to its credentials as a mass entertainer, she said, &lsquo;I thought this film would be a huge massy entertainer with great songs, colours, and fun. (But) it wasn&rsquo;t received well. Maybe because it was released on OTT and we were in the middle of the pandemic.&rsquo;
&lsquo;And that&rsquo;s when I realised, was my motivation for doing the film 100 percent pure? And it is the only time when my inner voice said, &lsquo;No&rsquo;. So, I don&rsquo;t want to do that,&rsquo; she added. Sara further said that her upcoming films, which include suspense-thriller &lsquo;Gaslight&rsquo;, &lsquo;Ae Watan Mere Watan&rsquo;, Anurag Basu&rsquo;s &lsquo;Metro&hellip;In Dino&rsquo;, and two untitled projects with Homi Adajania and Laxman Utekar, represent her changed thought process.

According to Times of India, Zee Studios had paid an advance amount of Rs 6 crore, which has not been returned by the makers. The company has been demanding a refund through emails and phone calls over the last two years. Now, with no other course of action, Zee Studios is considering taking things to court.
&lsquo;Thalaivii&rsquo; followed the life of Jayalalithaa from being an actor to turning into one of Tamil Nadu&rsquo;s strong political figures. The film was made on a lavish budget, but according to Bollywood Hungama, it didn&rsquo;t collect more than Rs 1.46 crore at the domestic box office.

The Sudha Kongara directorial also won Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Background Score. The film was based on the life of Simplify Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath.

Anubhav Sinha's 'Bheed' has been making headlines ever since its teaser launch. The film, which stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar, shows the mass migrant movement during the Covid-19 lockdown in India. The film sparked controversy as it draws parallels between the lockdown and Partition. Now, the filmmaker has commented on the matter and said that there&rsquo;s a sanctity to his film and he would not like to disturb it.
Speaking with news agency PTI, he addressed the controversy over his film and said, 'Sometimes I get attracted by the headlines, or something that has been probably bothering me for sometime...I don't like being angry but I am angry towards who we have become and who we are becoming.'
Referring to the controversy over his film&rsquo;s trailer, the director said audiences these days are provoked into talking about gossip surrounding a movie when all they should care about is whether they like it or not.
The first trailer of &lsquo;Bheed&rsquo; was removed from T-Series' official YouTube page after it received massive backlash from netizens. It was re-released later with some changes, including the omission of a speech by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and a dialogue referencing Partition.
The film also stars Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana, and Pankaj Kapur among others in pivotal roles. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on March 24.
