Singapore extends quarantine period for travellers from India

Apr 21, 2021 07:19 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Singapore Ministry of Health has issued a directive stating visitors from India will have to serve an additional seven days Stay-at-Home Notice apart from the usual mandatory 14 days quarantine at a dedicated facility.

The travellers will be tested for COVID-19 at the end of the initial 14-day quarantine and also at the end of the additional seven-day Stay-at-Home Notice.

The govt announcement came as the entry approvals for non-Singapore citizens and non-permanent residents are being reduced with immediate effect.
