There is a silver lining on the Covid cloud. The number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease in India crossed 1 million on Wednesday. As of Wednesday night, 64.4% of the total 15 lakh plus infections across had recovered from the disease while 33,236 had died. India's recovery rate is higher than the global average of 61.9%. Delhi, with 89% of its over 1.3 lakh cases discharged, has the highest proportion of those recovered. Ladakh, Haryana, Assam and Telangana have all logged 75% plus recovery rate.
