Land Rover India has launched the 2021 Range Rover Velar SUV in the country. The new Velar is priced at Rs. 79.87 lakh for the petrol version, while the diesel model is priced at Rs. 80.71 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom India. Available in the R-Dynamic S trim, the new Range Rover Velar now comes loaded with new features like 3D Surround Camera, Electronic Air Suspension, Cabin Air Ionisation and the new Pivi Pro infotainment system with a 10-inch touchscreen. The system also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Engine options on the new Velar including the 2.0-litre petrol with 247 bhp and 365 Nm of peak torque, whereas the 2.0-litre diesel is good for 177 bhp and 430 Nm of peak torque. Both engines belong to the Ingenium family and are paid with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Deliveries of the 2021 Range Rover Velar have already begun across the country.

The new Gold Wing is priced from Rs. 37.20 lakh for the manual version, while the DCT with an airbag is priced at Rs. 39.16 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom India. Both versions get a hefty price hike of about Rs. 10 lakh over the older model. The 2021 Gold Wing Tour gets a host of mechanical upgrades. The updated 1833 cc, in-line six-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine produces 125 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic. The feature list includes a TFT screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation, electrically adjustable windscreen, dual combined brakes, hill start assist, idling stop and more. The tourer comes as a Completely Built Unit from Japan and is the brand's most expensive model on sale in India. The 2021 Gold Wing range will be sold via select Honda BigWing Topline dealerships and deliveries will commence in July.

Force Motors has teased the new-generation Gurkha off-road SUV ahead of its launch a few weeks from now. The model was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and gets a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades, along with a BS6 compliant engine. The new Force Gurkha BS6 will retain its boxy design but will get a new single-slat grille. The circular headlamps now come with integrated LED DRLs, while upgrades include the new bumper with fog lights, clamshell bonnet with indicators and a black-coloured snorkel intake. The SUV is also expected to get better quality materials and features in the cabin with a touchscreen infotainment system, a new three-spoke steering wheel, power windows, ABS, dual front airbags, and forward-facing rear seats. It will also get 4x4 as a standard feature. The new Gurkha will take on the Mahindra Thar and the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross in the segment.
