Prithvi Shaw who was dropped from Team India owing to a poor run with the bat has slammed a record-breaking double century for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy vs Puducherry. Shaw slammed 227* off 152 deliveries which is the highest individual score in the Vijay Hazare trophy. Mumbai's total of 457/4 is also the highest team total in the competition's history. Shaw smashed 31 fours and 5 sixes as he decimated Puducherry's bowlers. Along with Shaw, Suryakumar Yadav who has got his maiden Team India call-up smashed 133 off 58 balls. A total of 62 fours and 11 sixes were hit in the match in Jaipur which makes it 314 scored off just boundaries.
