Injuries are now following Test opener Prithvi Shaw to New Zealand as he missed the practice session on Thursday due to swelling in his foot. Shaw who scored 16 & 14 in the 1st Test skipped the compulsory practice in Christchurch. According to media reports, Shaw will undergo a blood test to verify the reasons behind the swelling in his foot. In his absence, the management is likely to sub-in Punjab's prolific run-getter Shubhman Gill. Gill on Thursday had an extra-long session in the nets under the watchful eyes of head coach Ravi Shastri.
