Filmmaker has claimed that in 2017 he bought the exclusive rights to make a film on the life of Akhilesh Paul, a slum soccer player on whose life 'Jhund' is based. While Kumar seeks a stay on the film's release in both theatres and OTT platforms, the makers of Big B-starrer 'Jhund' have also filed a petition before the same court not to pass any order in this case without hearing them first. Hearing of the case on the film's release stay is scheduled for May 28.

Protocol will also demands that all cast, crew and on-set staff of a unit will have to report at least 45 minutes before commencement of a shoot.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has confirmed that two of his household staff have been tested positive for coronavirus. The filmmaker issued a written statement on Twitter on Monday and said,&nbsp;'As soon as the symptoms were detected, they were put under quarantine in a section of our building.
