As protesting farmers continued to throng the national capital on Saturday, home minster Amit Shah issued an appeal, reiterating that the Central government has called them for a meeting in Delhi on December 3. Shah said in a tweet that the Modi government is ready to deliberate on every problem and demand of the farmers. The talks between the protesting farmer groups and the Centre have failed so far. Shah pointed out that at many places, farmers are staying with their tractors on highways in this cold and appeal to them to move to the big grounds that Delhi Police are ready to shift them to. As farmers have insisted to move to the heart of Delhi to continue their stir, Shah said the farmers will be given permission to hold protests at the big ground on the borders of the national capital.
