Serie A matches in the northern Italian regions of Lombardy and Veneto will not be played on Sunday due to fear of the coronavirus outbreak, the Italian govt has confirmed. The matches were postponed after Italy reported two coronavirus deaths. Inter Milan's game against Sampdoria is among three Serie A fixtures that have been called off. The suspension also includes Verona v Cagliari and Atalanta v Sassuolo. There was no indication of when the games might be rescheduled.
