Indian markets were highly volatile in the early session on Wednesday due to heavy sell-offs by foreign institutional investors and simultaneous value investing by domestic players. The BSE Sensex which opened lower than the previous closing level was 130 points in green at 10:45 AM. Likewise, Nifty was trading 0.28% high, paring its early losses, at 7,823. Index-heavyweight Reliance Industries was up 6%, contributing most to the gains. Grasim, Maruti, Nestle and Britannia were the other top five Nifty gainers. Whereas, ITC, IndusInd Bank, L&T, HCL Tech and ICICI Bank were pushing the markets down. The rupee was trading 19 paise higher at 76.10 against the US Dollar.
