Following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip, tributes are pouring in from across the globe with condolences offered to Queen Elizabeth II after she lost her husband of seven decades.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson led the nation's condolences, and acknowledged Philip's 'extraordinary life and work'.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, posted a tribute to Prince Philip, on their website Archewell, saying he will be greatly missed.'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled his demise and hailed Prince Philip for his distinguished career in the military as also for being at the forefront of many community service initiatives. Former US president George Bush said that Prince Philip represented Britain ‘with dignity.'
Prince Philip died peacefully at Windsor Castle at the age of 99 on April 9.
