Robotics startup Anki is shutting down after failing to secure funding

Anki, the creator of AI-based robotic toys is officially shutting shop and letting go off nearly 200 employees. According to Engadget, the startup was unable to secure investor funding to keep itself afloat. However, there maybe a silver lining for Anki as companies like Microsoft, Amazon and Comcast had reportedly expressed interest in acquiring the company.
