Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries has announced initial support of ₹5 crores to the Maharashtra chief minister's relief fund. The firm looks to boost its face-mask production capacities to one lakh a day. Through Reliance Life Sciences, the group has also started importing additional test kits and consumables for effective testing. The company has also set up a dedicated 100-bed hospital and isolation centres. Part of the organised retail business, the company looks to offer free home delivery service for groceries for senior citizens. RIL said it will continue to pay contract and temporary workers. For those earning below ₹30,000 per month, salaries will be paid twice a month to protect their cash flow, the statement further added.
