The novel coronavirus may have cancelled Holy Week processions in different parts of the world, but it didn't kill the spirit among people in Malaga in Spain. Residents came out in their balconies to keep Easter traditions alive by singing. Usually, at this time of the year, the Trinidad neighbourhood would bustle with activity, as processions with majestic thrones carrying statues would be carried out. Instead, they played procession songs and chanted from their balconies. Some of them even built miniatures of the statues and paraded them within their homes.
