Report: India saw 37% spike in cyberattacks in Q1 2020

Cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Security Network (KSN) has said that India witnessed a 37 per cent increase in cyberattacks in the first quarter (Q1) of 2020, as compared to the fourth quarter (Q4) of last year. The company said in its report that its products detected and blocked over 5.28 crore local cyber threats in India between January to March this year. It also revealed that India dropped 5 places during the same period to rank 27th globally in the number of web-threats detected by the company.
