A report by Fitch's domestic ratings agency, India Ratings and Research says, India will not be able to narrow fiscal deficit to its targeted 3.3% of GDP in the 2018-19 financial year. This is the third consecutive year for India, that the fiscal gap will remain at 3.5%, due to shortfall in indirect taxes and non-tax revenues.
