Artists from across Asia have created a beautiful exhibit of ice sculptures, now open to the public on the outskirts of the German capital. Twenty-six ice sculptors from Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, China, the Philippines, Mongolia and Russia have contributed to the 5th Ice World in Elstal, near Berlin. Artists used 300 tonnes of ice to create more than 100 sculptures including moose, pandas and tuk-tuks. The Purana Qila in Delhi is all set to welcome a new museum which will house antiquities retrieved over the years from across the country. Scheduled to open in April 2020, the museum is being constructed by the Archaeological Survey of India and the Government of India. It will also house pre-historic figurines and pottery from the Mughal era. The announcement was made by Union Minister Prahlad Singh Patel in a letter to the Lok Sabha.
