Realme India CEO Madhav Seth has said that the recently launched X50 Pro, India’s first 5G phone, is also the first to feature ISRO’s NaVIC navigation system. He went on to add that even the second phone to support NavIC will be from Realme and that he’ll talk more about it on March 5th. This comes two days after Xiaomi announced that several of its smartphones launching this year will come equipped with chipsets that support the Indian satellite navigation system. NavIC is a regional geo-positioning system (GPS) to provide accurate positioning in India and 1,500km around it with the help of eight satellites.
