In another big blow to the Royal Challengers Bangalore, their allrounder Washinton Sundar has been ruled out with a finger injury from the remaining Indian Premier League which is due to begin from September 19th, the franchise confirmed on Monday. RCB has named a state cricketer from Bengal Akash Deep who is also a net bowler with the Bangalore team as his replacement.

Sundar suffered the finger injury in a practice game just before India's five-match Test series against England began. This is the 5th replacement for RCB this season. Earlier, Wanindu Hasaranga, Tim David, Dushmantha Chameera and George Garton were brought in as replacements to Adam Zampa, Finn Allen, Daniel Sams and Kane Richardson respectively.
