Head constable Ratan Lal, who died during clashes in North East Delhi on Monday, has been accorded martyr status. The Centre has reportedly given Rs 1 crore as compensation to the family of the slain cop. Delhi Police head constable Ratan Lal, died during the clashes in northeast Delhi's Gokalpuri on Monday. His autopsy report has confirmed he died of bullet injuries, and not from stone-pelting as earlier reports indicated. According to the autopsy report, a bullet was found stuck in his body. It entered his body through the left shoulder, went up to the right shoulder, killing him.
