A plea filed in the Rajasthan High Court seeks withdrawal of salary, benefits and other allowances given to the MLAs who have been staying in different hotels since Sachin Pilot declared a rebellion against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The petitioner has asked the court to withdraw salary, monthly allowances, and other benefits given to the MLAs of Rajasthan who have been staying in hotels from the past three weeks. It goes on to say that MLAs, staying in hotels with no connection with the public, are not discharging their duties as per their oath and hence should be penalised. The petition particularly mentions Fairmont Hotel where MLAs loyal to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stayed for about two weeks, later they were shifted to another hotel. The High Court will take up the plea on Tuesday.
