Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that many young men and women have been wounded and killed while protesting against the new citizenship law. Gandhi urged the Congress workers to visit their families and extend all possible help. Rahul Gandhi had on Saturday visited families of two people who were in police firing on the protesters in Assam. He also tweeted a video of his interaction with the families of the victims in Assam.
