Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on Monday raised the issue of attack and racial discrimination against people of the Northeast in the midst of the Coronavirus epidemic. The chief minister took to twitter after a video showing some persons from the Northeast allegedly being denied entry to a grocery shop went viral and has sought the Prime Minister and the Home Minister's intervention. "I am pained, shocked and in my worst awe seeing this video. When has humanity stooped so low," Zoramthanga said in a tweet. It is believed that the incident took place somewhere in Mysore. According to Meghalaya chief minister Conrad Sangma, an FIR has been lodged and two persons arrested in connection with the incident.
