The Gurugram administration has added quarantine and mandatory use of the Aarogya Setu app by all commuters as additional restrictions on public movement for those entering the city with essential goods. The order states that 'concerned management' should make accommodation arrangements for employees who are not residents of Gurugram. If transit is unavoidable, the commuters will have to undergo thermal scanning and symptomatic screening at border checkposts. Any violations shall invite criminal proceedings under the relevant provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005. The order will come into effect from Friday morning. Gurugram has so far recorded 54 cases of Coronavirus of which 38 people have recovered and been discharged so far.
