With India struggling to fix their opening woes, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari continue to impress in the limited opportunities they get. Indians were reduced to 38/4 in the tour game vs New Zealand XI but Pujara and Vihari dropped anchor and bailed their side out of trouble. Both showed composure in the middle order and scored 92 and 101 respectively. Their knocks will surely infuse confidence in the Indian team ahead of the 2-match Test series. With both of them likely to play just 5 International games in 2020 with no IPL contract as well, Pujara and Vihari would be eager to perform every time they come out to bat.
