PUBG Mobile to revoke access for all Indian users from October 30

Oct 30, 2020 13:20 IST

Having been banned in India back in early September, PUBG Mobile will begin terminating access for users in the country from October 30. While the ban caused the app to be removed from app stores almost two months ago, the game still remained accessible for users that already had it installed on their devices. The app was banned along with 116 others reportedly "in the interest of sovereignty and integrity" of the country, and even PUBG Corporation dropping its Chinese partner Tencent for publishing the game in India did not bring any reversal to the ban. It's worth noting that users that still have the app may be able to continue playing the game using a Virtual Private Network.
