The protesting farmer Unions on Saturday claimed that the Delhi Police has allowed them to hold the tractor rally in Delhi on Republic day. Farmers' leaders said they were able to jointly finalise routes for the tractor parade on Republic Day and claimed they have secured permission from the police for it. After attending meeting, a senior member of the Sanyukta Kisan Morcha, Abhimanyu Kohar said, the tractor rally will start from the Ghazipur, Singhu and Tikri border points of Delhi, but the final details of the routes are yet to be finalised. However, there is no official confirmation about the "breakthrough" from police in Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh yet. Delhi Police Commissioner said farmers have not given their final route in written.
