Thousands of farmers protesting at Delhi borders on Wednesday burnt the copies of Centre's new agriculture laws on the festival of Lohri on Wednesday, as a mark of protest against the legislations. The farmers also shouted anti-government slogans for the Centre's refusal to roll back the three controversial farm laws. Burning of farm laws comes after the protesting farmer unions said they will not appear before the Supreme Court-appointed panel, alleging it was 'pro-government', and added they won't settle for anything less than the repeal of the three contentious laws.
