The Competition Commission of India or CCI has asked for an investigation into alleged abuse of dominance by MakeMyTrip India, Ibibo and Oyo.
The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Association of India alleged that these companies abused their dominant position and entered into anti-competitive agreements.
They also alleged that the entities charged excessive commission from their hotel partners while offering deep discounts. The report will be presented in 150 days.
