Priyanka Gandhi accuses UP cops of manhandling her: 'held by my neck'

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was on Saturday prevented by the Lucknow police from visiting the family of people arrested during protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act earlier this month. According to her, her car was first stopped by the cops enroute to SR Darapuri's home. When repeated attempts to reason with the cops failed, she decided to walk the remaining distance but she was gheraoed by the cops again who allegedly held her by her neck and even pushed her down. Adamant on continuing, Priyanka finally hopped on to a party worker's two-wheeler to get to Darapuri's house.
