Centre gears up for roll out of COVID vaccine, dry run next week

The Central Government is gearing up for the roll-out of COVID-19 vaccine across the country. The government has already trained participants who will administer the vaccine across various states. The government on Friday said trainings have been completed in all States/UTs barring Lakshadweep, with the participation of more than 7000 district level trainees. Dry run for vaccine administration will be conducted in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat and Punjab next week. This exercise will enable end-to-end mobilisation and testing of COVID-19 vaccination process and check the usage of digital platform Co-WIN, government announced.
