Health Ministry on Tuesday said that the recent adverse effects of Oxford's Covid-19 vaccine that is being developed by Serum Institute of India reported by a volunteer from Chennai will not impact the timeline of the vaccine development and delivery in any manner. Replying to a question by the media, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that he would not like to get into the specifics of the SII case but would like to state that every volunteer is informed about the risks and adverse events that might take place during the trial before hand and are made to sign a form detailing the same.
