Veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Sunday praised Narendra Modi while addressing members of the Gujjar comminity at an event in Jammu. He said he is proud of leaders like PM Modi who don’t forget their roots. Though he admitted that he has ‘serious political differences’ with Narendra Modi, he said that PM Modi is a ‘very grounded person’. People must learn from Narendra Modi, who even after becoming a Prime Minister proudly calls himself a 'chai-wala', the former Rajya Sabha MP said on Sunday. The remarks come days after PM Narendra Modi bid a tearful farewell to Ghulam Nabi Azad, whose term as leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha ended earlier this month.
