Members of the general public may be able to choose when and at which immunisation centre they will take their Covid-19 vaccination, the Hindustan Times has reported. The officials have said that they will need modifications in the Co-WIN platform that is basis for managing the vaccination drive. The plan to make it a people/citizen centric system, wherein they self-register and should be able to choose the centre, time and day, the report added quoting officials. Approximately 27 crore people above the age of 50 as well as younger people with comorbid conditions will start getting vaccine in the second phase of the programme.
