PCB 'disappointed' after 9 players break Covid norms

Oct 18, 2020 17:59 IST

The Pakistan Cricket Board on Sunday expressed its disappointment after 9 players and 3 officials were found to have violated the Covid-19 protocols. The 12 individuals broke the bio-secure bubble of the hotel in Rawalpindi, where they were staying for the ongoing National T20 Cup. While they have tested negative for Covid-19, PCB has come down heavily on the senior players for their negligence. The board went on to warn about future breaches and said that those violating the protocols will be expelled from the ongoing and future tournament.
