Amid growing hostilities along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan is all set to procure nearly 600 tanks from Russia to strengthen its position along the International border with India, multiple reports said. The deal with Russia, which includes T90 tanks, comes amid Pakistan's push to revamp its armoured fleet by 2025. Pakistan has also procured the first installment of 245 50 mm SP Mike-10 guns from Italy. Russia's growing proximity with Pakistan is bound to raise eyebrows in India, as Moscow has been India's primary defence supplier since independence.
