Oxygen politics: Govt accuses Kejriwal of 'descending to a new low'

Apr 23, 2021 14:54 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Government sources on Friday said the interaction between the Prime Minister and Chief Ministers which was held today was not meant to be televised and accused Kejriwal of 'descending to a new low', news agency ANI has reported.

Government Sources said Delhi CM Kejriwal used the PM-CM conference on Covid as a platform to play politics. His entire speech was not meant for any solution but for playing politics and evade responsibility, they mentioned.

The interaction was live on TV and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was seen highlighting the crippling oxygen crisis in hospitals in the capital and requesting Prime Minister for help.

However, the sources mentioned Kejriwal raised a point of airlifting oxygen but did not know that it is already being done. They added that he spoke about oxygen express by Railways but Railway says that he has not communicated anything about it to them.
