'Only our bodies will go back': Farmers stay put at Delhi borders

Nov 28, 2020 11:02 IST

While a group of farm protesters are camping at Delhi's Burari ground, a large number of farmers are still holding up at different Delhi borders. At least three highways that lead to Delhi remain blocked amid the protests. While the Tikri border was opened for the farmers to enter the national capital, situation remains tense in Singhu border near outer Delhi's Narela. A large gathering of farmers has refused to mover from Singhu insisting on being allowed to enter Delhi. "We won't go back. Only our bodies will go back to Punjab," a farm leader told the gathering.
