English cricketer Ollie Pope is ruled out for up to four months after dislocating his left shoulder during the recently concluded Test series vs Pakistan. Pope who suffered a similar injury last year will undergo surgery in the next couple of weeks. The English cricket board in a statement hopes that Pope will return in time for England's tours of Sri Lanka and India starting in the early part of 2021. Pope has been one of England's breakthrough players in 2020 after he scored matchwinning 135 not out vs South Africa in January followed by a decisive 91 in the series decider against West Indies in Manchester after cricket resumed from the Covid-19 forced break.
