In a bid to streamline its business towards profitability, Ola has reportedly decided to lay off between 5-8% of it's staff, that's around 350 of the total 4,500 employees.

The company aims to go public in the next 18-24 months and may be looking to lay off up to 8% of its employee base.

Employees may also be transitioned to other parts of the business like Ola Electric, Ola Foods and Ola Financial Services.
