New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on Sunday said, the stabbing at the rabbi's home in Monsey was an act of domestic terrorism, adding the attack was fueled by intolerance. He added that hatred based on race, colour and creed was a 'cancer spreading in the body politic'. Cuomo also called for a domestic terrorism law in the state to prosecute such crimes. Five people were stabbed by the attacker when he burst into the house, which was hosting a Hanukkah celebration.
