Chinese smartphone maker Nubia has added the latest member to its Red Magic gaming smartphone series, the Red Magic 5S. It comes with a 6.65-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch response rate as well as capacitive touch triggers for competitive gaming. It is powered by Qualcomm’s second-best Snapdragon 865 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Red Magic 5S includes an improved cooling system with a silver-plated vapour chamber and built-in fan for better thermal performance. It’s got a 64MP triple rear camera setup and the same 4,500 mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. The Nubia Red Magic 5S starts at ¥3,799 (~₹40,600) for the 8GB+128GB variant, but the Indian availability is yet to be announced.
