No lockdown, but new curbs to be imposed soon: Delhi CM on Covid-19 surge

Apr 10, 2021 16:01 IST | By Editorji News Desk

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday said that there will be no lockdown in the national capital, but new restrictions will be imposed soon to curb the sharp increase in Covid cases.

Kejriwal also spoke about removing the age criteria and scaling up the vaccination process. Informing that Delhi is only left with the vaccine for the next 7 to 10 days, the CM said that if Delhi has enough doses and if the age bar is removed, people of Delhi can be vaccinated within 2-3 months.

Currently, there are 26,631 active Covid-19 cases in Delhi.
